Queen Mary of Scotland was kept in a convent for her childhood to protect herself against the English who desired her throne. Rose was orphaned as a baby when her parents died mysteriously. Now, teenage Mary is facing threats at convent and must return to the French king and queen to date their son and heir, Francis, who is also Mary's fiance since childhood.
