Driven by the obsession for a wife as beautiful as his late wife ,biology proffesor Mahmud ,who kisses her exhumed head every morning, pulls off a morbid experiment of breeding beautiful women in a remote ,uncivilised,village.......

In the city of lagos ,Zayd Abubakar an ace investigative reporter who has the uncanny gift of writting delightful scoops and celebrates each with a drinking binge ,runs into Almas ,an escapee from Mahmud's village of beauty in a brothel.......

Zayd falls in love with Almas ,the shabbily dressed lady who turns out a different sort of a prostitute and in return for his kindness Almas hands him a mystery note :"in the throes of death,a snake bite,bearers origin, Survival of the beautiful ,an unknown culture,yet in the same country"

The note fires ZAYD journalistic curiosity and his decision to investigate it brings him in a head-long clash with professor Muhammad in the village of beauty and in lagos........
