The Adopted Daughter {ON HIATUS]

Who knew one day, one moment, one tiny millisecond can drastically change everything. For Erica Cross, she knew that all too well. On a snowy night in December, Erica's parents get into a tragic car accident killing themselves both instantly- leaving Erica parentless. The 16 year old always had a "do it yourself" independence because of the fact she is all alone without anyone to take her in, that's until one day two men in black suits pick her up from her silent Colorado home and force her on a plane. Seemingly Erica does have relatives that want to take her in-a long forgotten family friend. On the plane she learns that Simon Cowell, yes the X-Factor judge in London, fought tooth and nail to have her become his adopted daughter, and now she is- she is forced to live with him until she's 18. What Erica doesn't know is that One Direction comes along with the territory of becoming the Simon Cowell's daughter. One Direction as in the dangerously hot and smoldering British/ Irish boy band that causes Erica's knees to get weak and her palms to sweat like crazy. Simon is practically One Direction's unrelated uncle, and a family that lives together, stays together. Erica finds herself under the watchful eye of One Direction, and cannot help but fall for each one of the guys. How can she help it- they all have their adorable little quirks- but someone stands out to Erica and that's the oh so unattainable Bradford bad boy, Zayn Malik. But unfortunately Zayn is in a relationship with the impassive Perrie Edwards, whom he worships. What happens when Erica walks through the doors and Zayn finds a drop dead gorgeous girl with all his interests? Things start to get messy.... especially when Louis Tomlinson feels a deep connection also. So follow Erica through the trials and tribulations of death, moving on in life, and changes that shape who you will be for the rest of your life and not to mention the shenanigans of One Direction.
