"Mommy, how did the world end?" Carson asks inevitably.
        I sigh, remembering when the outbreak first happened. The disaster had yet to hit other parts of the USA. When Carson was almost three months old, we had found ourselves in a city that was safe from zombies. From there, we received news on what was happening and how it happened.
	"Once upon a time. . ."

        My life is like one big screwed up version of Teen Mom. Three weeks after I gave birth to Carson, the zombie apocalypse started. If I could have born him into another life or time, there isn't a moment of hesitation when I say I would. 
         I only want to get Carson to a safer place. If that means going through hordes of zombies, accepting a ride from strangers, taking him to a camp I've never been to, or walking through the gates of hell, then I will. And if I happen to find Car's father along the way, then I will be the happiest girl on earth.

However, this all changes the day her boyfriend of two years, James, breaks up with her. Naturally, she's crushed. The icing on the cake is why he did it. Apparently she's 'too boring'. Determined to prove him wrong, she strikes a deal with the school's notorious bad boy, Wyatt King. She'll tutor him in maths if he teaches her to be reckless, fearless and careless. Can Aurora overcome the odds and do what she planned? Or perhaps someone will stop her on her mission to win over James. Maybe this isn't as easy as she thought it would be. Maybe she takes things a little too far. Ardamin: Clone #7. These short stories are more horror focused than the main book. But how can you tell the story of a zombie apocalypse without some horror? This story is unedited and first draft as keeping with my first two short stories posted to Instagram and therefore will not be polished or fixed with multiple drafts leading to an end product. This story was meant to be raw or just as it poured from my head. Spelling and punctuation errors are only to be expected, if the cause you some offence well... that's just the way this story was made. It is not meant to be refined but like living such a scenario would be, rough.
