My name is Emily Turner and before this summer, I didn't believe in any superstitions or stories in children's books. I was just trying to live my life and take care of my sister Lila while my parents were away. I believed Bloody Mary was just an old story and a book was just a bunch of pieces of paper bound together.
After this summer, I know that I was wrong.

I started writing this book back in 2016 and since then I improved a lot. There was a time in 2017 - 2018 when I gave up on this book but in 2019 I finally decided to pick it back up and finish it off. Epilogue updated on June 29th, 2019. I know it's not the best book of all time but I'm proud of finishing it, even though the story and writing style doesn't match me as a person anymore.Complete

I'd always heard the voices. From being a young child when the doctors had long since given up trying to find a cause, the voices woke me, screaming, in the night. But then, they began to guide me. When I started to find the dead bodies - animals, children - I was called a psychic. I was used to help, but I could only find what the voices wanted to show me. But then, one day, the killer chose another victim. It chose me, and only the voices could save me. Except, they weren't just voices. They were.... - Whilst on a long (7.5) hour flight to Wattpad HQ in Toronto, I was watching the film Solace. Part way through, an idea threw itself into my mind and I had to stop the film and start writing immediately. I also had another idea later on, again which I had to write down. This is the first of those ideas and is written for the #OnceUponNow promotion. Don't worry, Red Queen is being worked on too, but sometimes you just need to purge yourself of a story to be able to continue on with another.Complete
