Olive is a werewolf and she is being forced at the age of 13 to go and get herself killed in a huge arena. All 13 year old's go there until they are aged 16. Once they turn 16 they get to go home for a year. They go back on their 18th. So they can find their mates.
There are 3 Arena's in every teens lifetime, the ones that come out alive are worthy of packs and the injured get pulled out, not worthy of a pack. All wolves agree that the third arena is by far the worst.
its called the Torture Arena. TTA for short.
In short, the female wolves all are locked away and the men typically come to find them, kind of like princesses in towers, except the twist on their fairy tale is that the princesses are all being tortured and its up to their princes to save their lives.
