Turmoil. That is what life has become for Cassidy after being kidnapped for ransom. Although the money was received soon after their call, the kidnappers didn't let go of Cassidy. She was forced to live in a dark room for twelve painful days. Cassidy has now changed entirely. Nyctophobia and antidepressants tend to control her current life.

It's been a few years and still she avoids birthdays, however her boyfriend decides to surprise Cassidy on her eighteenth birthday. Will this birthday bring back Cassidy's normal self, or will she still be kept in the dark?
