[Compilation of Short Stories] "What is love?" I remember my professor once asked us that question. Naalala ko rin kung paano ito sagutin ng mga kaklase ko. Iba't iba ang mga sagot nila na ipinagtaka ko. Bakit ni isang beses ay hindi nagkatugma ang sinabi nila sa isa't isa? Bakit iba't iba ang mga pananaw nila sa salitang "love"? Some said that love is blind. Some of them said that love is just an emotion of a human. That love makes you stupid. Or that love is caring for another person. So, what is love? Is there no particular meaning behind it? Why did my classmates say different meanings when it is just one simple word? I remember how confused I was at that time. I started to read novels, manhwas, and watch dramas that tackle love or romance. And that's when I realize, The best way to know the meaning of love is to experience it yourself.Terminé

For the booksmart yet naïve 16-year-old Nicky, high school in her quaint little hometown island in the Philippines had always been predictable. Until that senior year. Nicky thought she got things all figured out. She'd be very good at school and be the valedictorian of the single-section class of 2010 of the highly looked-up science high school in their island. And then, she'd get a full scholarship to her dream university. All was fairly well except for a few things like grappling her feelings towards a long-time crush. Just when Nicky thought she could get through high school without too much boy-drama, a somewhat seemingly love life with a boy or two and suddenly, maybe even three was finally catching up with her during the last few months before high school graduation. She had never thought she could be wrong about a person. And that she could always be wrong about boys... ✨✨✨ Sidenote: I wrote this from November 2010 to April 2011, only a year ahead from the time set in the novel. This was fully uploaded on Wattpad in September 2013 for safekeeping. I hadn't gotten back to it in so many years nor find any means and time to promote it. "Chaos: The Spark Behind the Muse" ay kwento ng isang 22-year old na babae, Accountancy student sa isang mamahaling University sa Manila. Siya si Vee, na naging bihag ng kanyang mga sakit at takot. Iniwan ng pamilya at ipinagkatiwala sa mayamang lola, pinilit niyang magpatuloy sa buhay, subalit ang kalungkutan mula sa pagkakahiwalay sa pamilya ay naghatid sa kanya sa madilim na landas. Sa bawat hakbang, nagiging mahirap ang pagkontrol sa kaguluhan sa kanyang buhay-pag-takas sa gabi, clubbing, at pagkalulong sa bawal na gamot dulot ng pag-sama sa iba ibang kaibigan. Lahat ng ito ay naging paraan ni Viena upang matakasan ang kanyang pinagdadaanan, ngunit hindi nito naalis ang sakit sa kanyang puso. Sa kabila ng lahat ng ito, isang tao lang ang patuloy na nagmamahal sa kanya-ang kanyang half-brother na si Lucas. Ngunit dahil sa takot na muling maiiwan, tinanggihan niya ito, iniisip na hindi siya karapat-dapat sa pag-mamahal. Habang patuloy na nalulugmok sa kaguluhan ng kanyang buhay, walang alam si Lucas at ang iba pang miyembro ng pamilya na may malubhang kondisyon si Vee, isang sakit na dati'y akala ni Vee ay PTSD.
