This work is an investigation into the brutal murders of the Russian royal family, the Romanovs.

Officially, the Tsar, Tsarina, and their five children were brutally murdered, executed in the basement of their prison in the city of Yekaterinburg.

Unofficially, there have been sightings. All across the world, there have been individuals claiming to be the Tsar's children, and some of them have caught the interest of governments worldwide. There are obvious charlatans around, people hoping to rise to fame and glory (and wealth, of course), claiming to be descendants of royalty. Ridiculous numbers of young ladies have claimed throughout the years to be the long lost princess Anastasia. Fewer, but still many, have claimed to be the other sisters, and even a few men have claimed to be Alexei, the little brother.

But the problem is that not all of them can be easily dismissed. Some know details, small but personal things that only the Romanov family and their close friends would have known. Some share the same biological traits as the Romanov children.

And yet...bones have been found. Tests have been done. So many are certain of the Tsar's death, and yet at the same time so many refuse to believe it. The Russian government accepts it, and yet the Russian Orthodox Church - a powerful organization in Russia - refuses to accept it.

How can you find the genuine amongst the false? How can you find the truth when surrounded by lies?

This book is being written to show the research I have been conducting over the past few months, with the hope of discovering the true fates of the Romanov royalty.
