After the events of DBH, in an alternate timeline where Connor does not become a deviant and continues to work with Lieutenant Hank Anderson on murder cases involving deviants, Ann comes back from her year long study trip from Canada to help her father, who so happens to be the hotheaded Lieutenant. She takes a liking to Connor after he moves in with the Andersons, and a beautiful relationship between them flourishes. Told in multiple P.O.V's (Hank, Connor, and Ann mainly.)
