BASED ON THE HIT FILM OF THE YEAR, Mark Of A Star is an emotion coaster. Carly Shannon is a young woman who is dating one of Hollywood's famous stars. Taron Egerton is Carly's friend from Oxford college.

Betty Shannon, Carly's mother does not of Taron at first. This puts a HUGE stress on Carly. The bigger stress comes when Taron leaves to go film Rocketman in 2018. Taron promises to keep in touch with his girlfriend. But when that promise diminishes, it leads to a big problem.

A year later on March 31st 2019, Rocketman is released. Carly goes to see the movie and is proud. A week later at the hospital where she works as a nurse, something unexpected happens. This has Taron dropping everything for Carly.
