Leda Montgomery after battling with an incurable disease - depression, decides to journal how she actually lives in contrary to how her friends see her.  On the way, she meets a boy who isn't going to be her hero but her sidekick in her journey to defeat her severe episode of depression.

Four years later and we're still on the ground, crawling, in search of the happiness that was lost that June. Summers will never be the same.
