Hazel, the daughter of the Alpha of the Northern Pack, had never really stepped a foot outside her village. Being the Alpha's daughter, she didn't get to do as much as her brothers' and she envied them for it.
When she got the news that she was to attend the annual ball, she initially asked her father not to let her go but to no avail. An invitation was an invitation - and it couldn't be denied. Over the ball week, a particular Alpha with deep green eyes and a mouth-watering, dark chuckle had caught her eye, but would Hazel choose to let this handsome stranger mate her, or would she accept the consequence of telling a very powerful Alpha, "no"? And what about that voice deep inside her warning her of what's to come?
