Kion is exiled from the Pride Lands for 2 months for injuring Kiara after a heated argument which led to a fight. Kion ended up using the Roar on Kiara which knocked her unconscious. When Kopa who is acting as King for the Pride Lands tries to conquer the Tree of Life but fails as Scar invades with an army, the Lion Guard are kicked out and Kion and Rani go on a crazy adventure.
