"dikita anak, dahil tao ako, ikaw engkanto. kaya umalis kana" sigaw ng lalake sabay kuha ng kutsilyo sa kanyang bewang na araw araw nyang dala. itinuro nya ito sa bata na may halong kaba.
"tay wag munamang gawin sakin to oh please"
"pag dika aalis papatayin ki ki" inilipat ng lalake ang kutsilyo at itinuon ito sa kanyang sarili
"papatayin ko ang sarili ko" naiiyak ng sabi ng lalake.
" tay, babalil ako, tandaa. nyopo iyan, ililigtas kita" huling sagot ng bata at kumaripas na ng takbo.
