A Light In The Dark: Day
On the continent of Fulcrum, all humans are capable of magic to some degree. Upon reaching adulthood, everyone is categorized into different colors of magic, with each color pertaining to a different element: red (fire), orange (earth), yellow (energy), green (wind), and blue (water). Every few decades, the gods of this mysterious land hand pick one talented individual, the Child of Light, to receive White magic which grands the ability to use all other colors of magic. All of our life, we have been told that we can't travel to different universes, and Juliane is no different. She was living like any normal teenager her age. One day, some gangsters attacked her mom, forcing her to pay the debts Juliane's father left them with. While hiding in the basement, Juliane found some weird looking crystals and some box that looked different from the things you'll see in this world. Out of curiosity, she tried using the box, which took her to a different universe, which might sound insane for an instance. Defying Fate
Please don't read this, I wrote it in middle school and it's really bad. I just don't want to delete it because some people might get mad at me ;-; Maybe someday I will rewrite it. There once was a prince, who fell in love with a girl. But she wasn't a princess. She was the hand maiden of a nobleman's daughter, who had eyes for the young prince. The prince and girl fell in love, but couldn't be together, for the nobleman's daughter grew jealous when she found out, and ordered them to be killed. This story was called "The Lover's Curse." As it passed down, generation through generation, it became known as only a legend, a myth. I made this when I was younger and decided to release my old work into this to the world. I didn't plan a storyline so this maybe have crazy tone shifts. (Making her naive to the cruelty of the world.) She always wanted to see the world outside of the castle. Though everyone saw her as a weak helpless princess that needs to be protected, and hidden from the cruel world she desperately wants to see with her blue eyes. A witch shows up one late after noon and offers her magic mirror, that can show her the outside world from just looking into it. She only needs to imagine the place she wants to see and will be there. The princess though was being a jerk so the witch cursed the mirror. Making it so that the princess ever looked into it, she will become a fearsome dragon. "The princess will no longer be a princess and she will see the world she desperately wants to see.
