A Study On Human Connection

This is a short story I wrote based on Stephen Dobyn's poem, "To Keep Ones Treasure Protected".

This is currently unedited and is in its first draft. I'm looking at expanding my ideas and refining some rough edges later in the future, but like someone very wise on the internet once said, "doing something 50% of the way is better than not doing it all." This is my doing something 50% of the way.
