Though today he is considered to be a hybrid now; he is a balance of both, he is light and he is dark but thankfully he is no longer an enemy of Thomas or the other Light Sides. Still haunted by his mysterious past Virgil has to keep secrets in order to protect Thomas and the others, hopefully, to never reveal the pain he once endured but the arrival of two dark sides; Janus and Remus causes Virgil to become very wary. Not sure whether to see them as a threat or what they are planning has Virgil on edge. Soon he notices that Thomas is starting to fall closer into darkness and is slowly beginning to weaken and infect his new family. Knowing what will happen if Thomas is completely corrupted, Virgil knows he has to stop whatever is causing this infection even if he must pay the ultimate price.

It was the tenth of December. Virgil was watching his idiotic boyfriend try and choose which Christmas tree they should have in their house this year. It was also the day Virgil received a text. A text from his older sister. Herself and the rest of his family want him to come home this Christmas. His family want him home. His family he hasn't seen in ten years. (Some of the characters I write about - Thomas and his 'sides' - are not mine! They were created by Thomas Sanders who is a YouTuber. If you didn't know that already, I'd suggest you check him out before reading my stuff!)

There was the Light Sides, the Dark Sides, an He was just Virgil. Kinda stuck in between in his own special but tiny box. And up until now, Virgil thought that the Light Sides were fine with that like the Dark Sides were. But, the answer was, apparently, no. Or, at least it was a semi-unanimous no. Would they still trust him if they knew what he did and who his friends use to be? Roman called them Dark Sides, but what are they really and how is Virgil connected to them?
