Victoria, aka Tori, aka Tori with the flame red Triumph Bonneville. Aka Cherry, aka Rose. 7.60 ultra bold red, box dyed, saucy curls. Ultra bold and flamboyant personality too. Exotic accent, jokes for days. Vinyl heels and leopard print clothes for a lifetime. Has a weak spot or two for Seattle music dudes, and she can go feral if they own a fairly decent-looking motorcycle. She loves herself a good post-midnight ride, that's for sure. But don't call her a groupie, or she'll run you over with her 600cc because she thinks that being very selective & a romantic at heart exempts her from fitting under the inglorious label. Victoria Khair is a foreign exchange student at the WSU. She somehow ends up caught in an irresistible web of meeting the right people at the right time, meeting some other of them at the wrong time, and hooking up with some guys from the Seattle grunge movement. Learning nothing but the meaning of pure hedonism, hangover, freedom, peace, love ... and heartbreak. She only has one concern in the world: her Seattleite blast won't last forever. Only twelve months, and then it will be home all over again. But what is home ? Where is home ? Is it really home ? Follow the adventures of Tori and her best friends, super groupie Bessie and bandaid princess Chrissie, enjoying the scene of Seattle's golden era to the fullest. Probably too much for the weaker hearted ones. a collab w my besties @sharkcastic & @misselven3000. catch up with Chrissie and Bessie's takes on their respective accounts ❀️ ©️ cover by sharkcastic

Sydney didn't have much, but that was fine with her. She didn't need much. Growing up on the Washington coast in a lonely beach town, working quietly behind the scenes was what she was good at. Living on the beach was much less glamorous than most people imagine. Her home was a beat up old Winnebago that she had shared with her father until he passed. Her father had been a detached parent. He loved his daughter of course, but he was by no means an affectionate man. She had grown up fending for herself, working backstage at a bar that hosted live bands using a fake ID. After the death of her father she saw an ad for a guitar technician for a local Seattle band. A love of rock and roll had been the one thing that her and her dad had in common. Selling everything that she didn't need she packed up her pickup truck and travelled north to the city, leaving the sleepy town in her rear view mirror. She didn't expect to embark on what would become the adventure of a lifetime. For someone who had hardly left the town she grew up in, the opportunity to get paid to travel the country and listen to great music was a dream come true. The band became her family, and life on the road was a perfect fit for her. Chris Cornell instantly became Sydney's best friend in the whole world. They were in love, that was plain as day to anyone who paid attention. Yet, sometimes love isn't as simple as it should be. Sometimes, love hurts. Warning: This book covers potentially triggering subjects such as depression, suicidal ideation, domestic abuse, sexual assault, poverty and drug use. A completely fictitious, made-up story set in an authentic version of 1991, where 21 year old student Sam is awakened by Eddie. Full of smut, band/singer references, authentic details, peak era Eddie and a reasonably ok, legible storyline, I hope. Escapist silliness, smut and nostalgia for Vedder/grunge fans who need a little cheering up xx
