The year is 1997-1998. Four months after being left scarred, horrified, and left for dead from the events of both Jurassic Park and The Lost World, Ian Malcolm is called upon by none other than Benjamin Lockwood. Malcolm learns that Lockwood was, in fact, Hammond's business partner when he was alive, and Lockwood believes all of the dinosaurs on Isla Nublar have died from the Lysine dependency that Dr. Wu originally added to the genetic codes. Skeptical, Malcolm disagrees. However, after more convincing, he finally agrees.
Unfortunately, Lockwood was wrong...

With a palaeontologist for a father and a paleobotanist as a mother, Keira's life is strictly dino-related from the time of her birth and it comes as no surprise when she decides to follow in the steps of her parents. However, Alan and Ellie never anticipated that their daughter would be roped into the same trap that they had fallen into all those years before. With the opening of Jurassic World theme park, Keira is lured to the appeal of working with the creatures she has learned so much about over the years, along with the promise from the park itself that things will be different this time around. With new safety precautions put into place, along with advanced technology, Jurassic World is deemed safe and the park is opened with Keira working among the herbivores on site. But things certainly begin to change when Keira meets up once more with ever-flirtatious and aloof, Owen Grady the Raptor Trainer as he steps into her territory. Ian and Clary agreed never to go near her father's ideas again, but saving Sarah's life is important. After going to the island and finding Sarah, the Malcolms find Kelly, Ian's daughter from a previous marriage with them and InGen has other ideas instead of listening to their boss, who just so happens to now be the heiress of Hammond's corporation: Clarissa Adeline Malcolm. Hammond was supposed to lose the corporation to Peter Ludlow, Clarissa's cousin, but at the last moment, Hammond promised the lawyers that Clarissa would be a better fit. They all agreed. In a rage, Peter Ludlow, followed the Malcolms to Isla Sorna to steal dinosaurs to create a zoo in San Diego. "You have a crush on my husband?"
