Four months after being left scarred, horrified, and left for dead from the events of both Jurassic Park and The Lost World, Ian Malcolm is called upon by none other than Benjamin Lockwood. Malcolm learns that Lockwood was, in fact, Hammond's business partner when he was alive, and Lockwood believes all of the dinosaurs on Isla Nublar have died from the Lysine dependency that Dr. Wu originally added to the genetic codes. Skeptical, Malcolm disagrees. However, after more convincing, he finally agrees.
