Mystic Petals

Globally, depression is one of the leading causes of illness and disability among adolescents. Mental health conditions account for almost 16% of the global burden of disease and injury in children aged 16-19 years. As of a report published in October 2018, India is the most depressed country in the world, followed by China and the USA. The consequences of failing to address adolescent mental health conditions extend into adulthood, impairing both physical and mental health and limiting opportunities to lead fulfilling lives as adults.

"Mystic Petals" is a collection of twelve poems embracing the importance of mental health, painting a depressed mind's road to recovery in words.
