Alyssa and Megan are on a ship. It is a starship, and it is taking them somewhere. They do not know where this ship is taking them, or how long it will take them to get there. They only know that there is a room at the very bottom floor which emits a strange violet light at seemingly random times. And they know that somehow, this light is an important piece of the story behind their journey.
