From the time since she was a little girl, Adeline d'Artagnan has always wanted to be a musketeer just like her late father, but as she got older, she realized she would never become one as a woman. She soon gets the shock of her life when she hears news that she is engaged to her arch nemesis, GΓ©rard Leroy. Reluctantly, she agrees to marry him just to protect her family, but then when the Comte de Rochefort kills her best friend when he tried to defend her honor, she goes on a journey to avenge her best friend's death. Along the way, she meets the Inseparables where they take her onto perilous journeys such as getting into duels with the Cardinal's guards, breaking into the Tower of London to retrive the Queen's diamonds, and going into battles with the captain of the Cardinal's guards on an airship. All these events lead her to becoming the one thing she always wanted, but becoming la femme musketeer was just the beginning of the journey...
