Cole the Not So Stereotypical Jock
Being the most popular guy that girls all want to be with and all guys want to be should make you feel on top of the world, right? Not always, especially if you have to keep the fact that you can barely afford food a secret at all costs. And then the new girl shows up with her amazing dance moves and intoxicatingly confusing logic, and he can't seem to get her out of his head. She isn't the favorite girl of the school, not to mention his friends, and she doesn't show any interest towards him, but he has to try. The girl with the mysterious ways has got him wrapped around her scarred little finger.
Not Andy
Being the girl with no friends is never easy- especially when you have major trust issues and problems that can only be discussed with a shrink. That's why instead of slowly letting people into her life, she chose to shut them out completely. It seems easier that way, which is until she moves to Bangor, Maine and catches the eye of Cole, the football quarterback and heart throb of the school. He makes her feel things that she didn't think we're capable, and he shows how to make a bad situation into something semi-tolerable. It gets her thinking that maybe cliche boys with secrets aren't such a bad thing.
During their 17th year, Andy and Cole must face the problems of high school, social hierarchy, their pasts, relationships, trust, friendships, and even love. Both of them knowing that stories like this never happen to kids like them, but they're willing to try anyway.

I was missing your gorgeous face.", I told another lie. But wait? His face is gorgeous so that isn't a lie. And was I not missing seeing him? I noticed Brandon who just had his eyes popped out of his socket with bewilderment at my words. I decided to peck him on the cheek before I storm out of the locker room. I leaned ahead to peck Brandon who moved his face in my direction and instead of his cheeks, our lips crashed. Brushing against each other, our lips touched. I could feel fireworks exploding inside my entire body. And a crazy plan gets sprung into action when Andy comes up with this insane idea to steal a game plan from their school's biggest rival football team's captain. Which causes a lot more trouble than they expected it to. Will Andy open her heart to love? Or will she keep her promise? Will their crazy scheme work? And will she be able to survive the wrath of her obsessive ex boyfriend? I gripped the telephone as my knuckles turned white. "What do you mean?" "Come on Zoey I've seen you sneaking around acting like you're busy. You're hiding something and you won't tell me." All Zoey Campbell ever wanted to do was keep her head down and get through high school. Too bad it isn't that easy. Zoey is tired of everything and everyone. She is tired of being pushed around and tired of watching in the shadows. She is tired of pretending to like that girl that doesn't even know her name. An Unexpected Moment
... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. Not every blonde is stupid. In the South if you're a beautiful, blonde, blue-eyed girl high expectations are made. Either you're not extremely smart, so you find yourself a suitable husband to take care of you. Or you are smart and you just pretend to be dumb so you find yourself a suitable husband to take care of you. All her life Avery Skinner has been told what to do and how to do it- by everyone. By her mother, the girls she calls friends, the guys in school, teachers, family, even Mark the mailman. Needless to say, she's sick of it. Its time Avery took control of her life or at least get a firm grip on the sucker. She's loved football ever since she was a little girl. Yet she could never play because ladies aren't supposed to do such barbaric things. Especially in the South- unless its a rodeo and you're wearing those ridiculously tight outfits that show you're navel or showing you can hold your liquor. Avery has longed to be on the field, throwing the ball instead of cheering on the team her dad coaches that can't seem to win. Then her best friend Austin forces Avery to and for sometime everyone is fooled. But the truth can only be hidden for so long. The moment the townsfolk of Stonehenge, Alabama learned it was a girl under that helmet, was the moment true colors showed. It hasn't been easy and it won't get any better but Avery is here to play. * Avery is going to face REAL life problems, and not nice people. She's going to deal with sexual harassment, mean words, rude people, pregnancy, injuries, steroids, etc.. In this story I want to exemplify how sexist and cruel humans can be.
