Shanna Deloach is an assistant teacher at Houma Junior High School, and look like any regular girl for her age. Long blonde hair, bright hazel eyes, fair skin. On the outside, she's considered perfect and beautiful. But the inside is a different story.
Shanna has a rare case of heart disease, making her born with half a heart. All her life, she has taken medicine that helps with the pain and went through countless medical procedures to help, but her condition was worsening by the day. She even had to get a metal plate to help the heart beat properly. Although doctors only gave her to the age of seven, she is now a nineteen year old. Due to her heart, she is unable to carry a fetus, so her sister, who is sixteen, has agreed to give her the baby. Her life seemed perfect at the time. Nothing could go wrong!
