Who was he?

He waltzed across the gritty sand, wide, confident strides making the sand softly whisper beneath his feet. 

Who was he?

His calloused hands twisted and played with the cool water, faint laugh bubbling along with the sighing waves. 

Who was he? 

The breeze faintly sang his name, just out of reach of the human ear. Just loud enough to hear its beautiful melody, but not loud enough to remember.
