The world as we know it, is gone. The disease spread everywhere, infecting 98% of the human race. Very few were left, including the once-best-friends Harry, Louis, Niall, Liam and Zayn. As the remaining survivors split off into their Groups, they battle each other out for the race to find The Cure, which was mankind's only hope for changing the course of the future.
