Leora Alvarez is a 19-year-old teen whose father is the leader of one of the largest mafias in the world. Her life was smooth sailing until one night when she meets a handsome stranger by the name "Benjamin". Only after a night of passion did Leora realize Benjamin's true identity. . . As I wrote the life story of my protagonist, I found myself drawn to the parallels between the tumultuous ups and downs of her life and the strategic game of chess. Just as a skilled player must anticipate and adapt to unexpected moves on the board, my character's journey is marked by sudden twists and turns that force her to think on her feet and make quick decisions to stay ahead of the chaos. The game becomes a metaphor for her life, where every move is a calculated risk, every pawn a symbol of the people and experiences that shape her path. As she navigates the uncharted terrain of her own destiny, she must outmaneuver her opponents - both internal and external - to emerge victorious, just as a chess player must outmaneuver their opponent to checkmate. In this way, the game of chess becomes an integral part of her story, reflecting the very fabric of her being: complex, dynamic, and full of unexpected surprises. This story follows the lives of the heirs to the Alvarez family business. (Leora Alvarez & Alessia Caprio-Alvarez) {Unedited}
