After escaping the hellish island of Papaki, Felix and his companions are forced to navigate the wildnerness and waters of a foreign world. With a collection of severe injuries and ailments, they are forced to venture back into civilization to seek help.
However, they soon discover that they haven't left their problems behind at Papaki. For the Association of United Gifteds has been dispatched to the area in search of seven, bloodthirsty juveniles, responsible for a string of brutal murders. And it's up to the Stray Kids to avoid their prying eyes while seeking asylum.
But as they trek across the continent, Felix discovers something related to Mrs. Myoui's daughter, and he discovers that there could possibly be a special place for Surs where he would be safe.
Felix is burdened with several difficult dilemmas that hinder his journey. Should he try to find Mrs. Myoui's daughter, who could be alive and well? Would it be better to take a risk but stay with his newfound family? And then, there's the issue of his relationship with Changbin, and how it's quickly escalating into something so pure, so precious, that it could endanger the lives of them and everyone else.
A storm is brewing. The crackling thunder is a threatening foreshadow of the hurricane to come. And when it hits, it will be like nothing anyone has ever seen.
