"Hurts doesn't it" I say He looks up at me and doesn't say anything. " it hurts when you see me with him, doesn't it ?" I say again. " yes" he replied "Good because now I hope you realise, that he could've been you, it could've been you with me, you could've been the one to make me laugh, but you fucked up hunter and now you have to live with it" I stood up and was about to tell him to leave, when he started walking towards me, he backed me up into the wall and put both hands on either side of my head. " I was him once, I was the one making you laugh don't you remember?" I pushed him back " I remember, but I already told you once before hunter, now you're just a stranger."

As I walk into the school, he spots me and immediately starts talking to me. I brush past him, ignoring him, but today is definitely not my lucky day... He grabs my arm firmly, stopping me, and turns me to face him. The pain on my face contorts his expression. "What's wrong, Emma? Lost your voice, lizard?" I don't look at him; my head is hung low once again. "When I'm talking, you need to look at me!" he shouts, lifting my chin so I have to meet his gaze. I look at him, but it's not with innocence; it's with anger. "Oh, look, Emma's angry, everyone!" he mocks. "Just leave me alone," I say, meeting his eyes as I pull my arm free from his grip and walk away. He stares at me, shocked, as do all the kids around us, not expecting what I just did.
