Maria José DeSantos was a misfit, raised on the wrong side of the tracks even though her mother begged to send her to Riverdale High. Her life was a lot like Jughead Jones, but she was also different in many ways, as well. Maria, has grown up surrounded by her dad's friends, which meant she had grown friends on both the South and Northside. Even though a lot of people thought she was a Northsider, but in her heart she was a Southsider.. anyone that knew her background could see that She thought she had everything figured out. A best friend since birth, an okay situation and her whole life a head of her.. but that all changed when the town's golden boy went missing on July 4th. ☼ season one episode one ⇾ season one episode thirteen
