Izuku had a hard childhood.
His closest friend had an awesome quirk, but some kid from the middle school got him sick the exact same day. Kacchan was sent to the hospital, and his explosion quirk cancelled out and just turned to nitroglycerin sweat, no way for it to be rid off.
Izuku got bullied soon after he told everyone that he was quirkless. Kacchan gets mad at him for letting himself be proof to others that he WAS weak. Going into harsh coughing fits during those conversations.
It be came hard to visit Kacchan more so soon after he starts to crack down from the fact... That since the person that got his best friend sick... Was found dead, leaving Kacchan for dead... Four more years left for Kacchan now.
Izuku... Izuku decided to become a Hero... For his Friend... And for himself.

Quirkless doesn't mean useless but because of how quirkless kids are being treated they often end up dead.. Izuku Midoriya is a kid that was born quirkless. Once his parents found out about this, they immediatelly abandoned him and threw him out on the streets. Now rouaming the steets and barely surviving he still finds a way to help people but not any avarage people, no he saved All for One and the other 4 LOV members. Kacchan thinks that izuku is useless. Many probably think so too. Deku doesn't have a quirk but his mother paid the doctors not to write him down as quirkless. If you are quirkless, you will not only be treated very badly, but in some cases also hunted. Because of the blood. People with quirks have problems getting a blood donation. Someone with an animal quirk cannot donate or get any blood from another animal quirk that is not the same species or another quirk . A person with a fire quirk can only get or give blood from someone with a fire quirk. Blood loss is very dangerous only a quirkless person can donate blood to everyone and become blood from everyone. So Izuku has officially a quirk. His quirk makes him smarter and stronger than the rest of the average. Stronger? What an obvious lie.Complete

Until he got sick. His future was gone. It was a miracle he didn't die then and there. But there may still be a way for him to be a hero, just in his own way. The vigilante way.
