Beyond the City

There are a few cottages located on farmland situated outside of the city and they have a few families living in them. In the inhabitants there are two 17-year-old girls who have been best friends since they were little however one (Melissa) has to move to another country when she receives a scholarship for university and Felicity (main female character) is left behind, hurting and closed off. Within a week, the new cottage owners have moved in and the family seems normal until an extremely attractive 19-year-old turns up claiming to be the eldest son of the family. Flustered and caught off guard they're first meeting was not the most comfortable and it opens the doorway for a potential relationship to start. As Felicity tries to move on from the unfortunate move of her best friend, she ends up holding a grudge on Axel (main male character) and trying to avoid him. Although however hard she tries to get on with life and forget him, he sneaks into her mind at all times of the day, distracting her and not letting her forget the arrogant man who just happens to be her neighbour. Axel enjoys Felicity not giving into his flirting attempts and starts the 'chase.' He tries his best to start to be romantic and woo her by being a gentleman, however his goal just wanting to prove to himself that he can get any girl he sets his eye on. During the 'chase' however he gets to know Felicity as an individual and begins to develop feelings for her and her shy but passionate personality has him so intrigued with her that he cannot deny his feelings anymore. However, will Felicity forgive him when she finds out the sweet guy that she has developed feelings for was just using her or will it pull them apart forever? Follow along their unique story to see if they will figure everything out.
