The top two pro heroes, Deku and Shouto had a run in with a fledgling villain called, Mira, who has a quirk that lets her reflect every state of matter except solids. During the battle, Mira redirected Shouto's new move, Heat Flash, right into Deku's face! This attack knocks him out, but when he wakes up the villain has been captured and he has lost his sight. Even though most people tell him he can't be a hero anymore, Izuku is determined to help people in need. With Shouto's care and support, and a new furry friend, the green-haired man becomes a new kind of hero.
