A young girl named Nani faces the struggles of fitting in at her school with an abusive home life. Everyone at school avoids Nani, not that she minds, she just tries to keep her head down and hide the bruises beneath the sleeves of her sweater. No one cared to take a closer look at Nani until one day a kind stranger at school takes notice.
NOTE: I'm not 100% sure where this story will go as it is my first actual story posted on wattpad. If you see any errors or have any tips please feel free to mention them to me. I will continue to post chapters as I go, thanks!
WARNING: Some chapters may contain child abuse (though not graphic), also some chapters may get a little dark but I'm not sure.

As school starts [f/n] is very shy and scared to make friends with people due to her past. But what happens when [f/n] becomes manager of the boys volleyball team and realizes it's not just organizing and discussing volleyball plays. As manager it becomes harder to cover up her past until something terrible happens. Although if it wasn't for some sly beanpole [f/n] wouldn't be where she was today. The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?" I ask, swinging my feel a little. He shakes his head shyly, his mouth not moving at all. Geez! Why do I want to hear this dude talk so much? "Okay, that's fine. I can give you a nickname."
