When 15 year old Delilah and Romy meet at camp-half blood, they can't believe how upside down their lives have instantly become.
Delilah has run from foster home to foster home since she was 7, from being telekinetic, to having an acute sense of machinery, running away to live in a lighthouse is far from being the strangest thing she's ever done. When her satyr comes three years late; telling her she's a daughter of a god it's obvious that more strange things are about to come Delilah Wayland's way.
When you look up irony in the dictionary Rosemary Wasser's life is the full story. Lots of kids would love to control water, not only the form but temperature too, but when you watch your mother drown its seems smart to stray far from it. Romy, as she likes to be called, is thrown from Florida to Arizona in a matter of days to live with her strict, highly opinionated Uncle Timothy. Five years later a half-goat, half man comes and changes her life forever.
