Cassie Jones was just like every other cliche female character. She was smart, quirky, and beautiful. She had a dark past that no one knew about, causing them all to think that she was perfect. She had trust issues, yet was hopelessly in love with the idea of romance.

Alec Avery was like every other cliche male character. He was rediculously attractive, and a notorious player and womanizer. He had "daddy issues" and was known to many just as damaged goods. He was broken, but he masked his pain by putting up walls. He was dangerous, but everybody likes a little danger.

Their story is just like many others. The good girl falls for the bad boy and he falls back. No matter how hard they tried to stop it, they couldn't. You can't stop love. But when she finds out his little secret, will she forgive him? Or will her heart be too broken to fix?

Even love can't mend everything.
