Sonic was revived by Sane-vision-Boomer (who was sent by the one who has to stop Secret History Tails and undo his doing). Though a few weeks after Amy left with the insane Tails from the other dimension, Manic and his friends and Sonic were met with a zombie apocalypse that was caused by Secret-History-Tails (who was unaware of what he done) when he blew up the ones he got rid of. One zombie (a brown and decayed echidna) they captured had an interest for Sonic and Sonic himself felt fond with while helping Sane-Vision Boomer capture Tails even if it means capturing Amy.
