Stranger Happenings: Book One

Based on the hit HBO show True Blood, comes a small town called Rivet Town. There lies humans... and supernatural creatures alike.

Half of the town is split between loving the supernatural creatures or hating them. But one thing is for certain... they hate vampires. Most of them anyways, they fear they will drink their blood or steal their wives, husbands, and children.

Rodney Copperbottom, a cute, nerdy blonde cook who works at the local bar/restaurant. He is a werewolf and not afraid to admit it, he is proud to be one. He and the rest of his friends, known as the Rusties are also werewolves. Rodney has a temper, that doesn't help when he sees vampires or others who hurt his friends.

Cappy Jade, a dark haired businesswoman who works at Bigweld Industries, is a sarcastic, beautiful woman, but also a werewolf. She has a professional work relationship with a vampire that contradicts her values, though she isn't afraid to use her werewolf side to defend herself.

Aurora Gray, a red head waitress who is a witch, and something more, but she doesn't know what exactly. She is able to read anyone's mind, cast curses and much more, but doesn't tell many, only people she trusts. Aurora likes to be around friends but finds it hard to concentrate when all she can do is read other people's thoughts. Which are disturbing...

Lastly, Alex Walker, the most infamous vampire in Rivet Town, a dark haired vampire with secrets of his own. He is a vampire bounty hunter, some call him a traitor to his kind. The best in his field, and keeps to himself, only seeking help from a female werewolf, despite his utter hatred towards them.

When women bodies begin to pile up around Rivet Town, the town blames the local vampire Alex Walker. Those who defend him are just as guilty, sides are drawn, friendships ruined, and relationships begin.
