Ever heard stories of people who die, but come back to earth? Maybe you've heard of all three afterlives; purgatory, hell, and heaven? Perhaps you learned it from a class about religion in school. Maybe you just saw it in an episode of Supernatural, or on some daytime talk show.
Well, I'm here to tell you the only truth I'm certain about:
I have been to hell.
I'm back.
I have unfinished business.

Where do you go when you die? For this kid, it's Purgatory. In fact, quite a few visit Purgatory, but most everyone moves on. Not this kid. They've been saved, by Death himself, for a very different mission. They will be reaping and advising souls, keeping the very balance of the universe. "We have evaluated your life, and you do not clearly fit into a category of the afterlife. For this reason, you have been sent to purgatory to be advised. After your trial period, I will decide where you fit, or whether you'll need a second trial for advising." He paused, looked up at me, and frowned. "What's your name?" "Why?"
