A day like no other....
Max looked up at the sky, struck with a fleeting hope of change. It was his last opportunity to escape the arduous life of anxiety, depression, and loneliness. He was to be disappointed. He braved the harsh world and endured the monotony of school.

He can't escape his past, nor can he deny his destiny.

His day seemed like any other; hellish, until a solar flare shook the Earth to it's core. Something awoke within him, along with new superpowers; telepathy. Max had always steered away from the imposing views of others, now it was more intense than ever. It was real. He had little time to come to grips with one power, soon, more followed.

Were they a gift or a curse? Max was yet to be convinced either way.

Something continued to shift and stir within him. His mind awakened to a whole new perspective of reality, with it, new threats. Max found himself stood face to face with his first demon. His fears suddenly become more real than he could have ever imagined. This dark creature had snuck through a portal he unwillingly opened.

Out of his depth and out of his mind, Max's day hit a new low.

To his rescue, Max is aided by another, Michael. He also experienced the awakening, but little did Max know, it was he who awakened him.
Michael's strength and courage help Max come out of his shell and together they train and learn about the potential of this new world that has opened up to them, moving beyond the mundane life that they always felt confined to. Their search for answers widens, walking a seemingly fated path.

Max finds himself caught in an ancient war, and the pull of light and dark continues to tear through the fabric of reality.
