Helen has always wanted to make more of herself and be free from the restraints of her orphanage. She daydreams about being the leader of the most feared gang of bandits west of the Realm of Kylos and having wild adventures. Her best friend Ivory, however, is content with her life and wants nothing to do with the outside world--until one little girl they both love dearly gets sick with the dreaded Plague that's been sweeping the land.
