I fell for a boy with the kindest blue eyes, and a charming dimple. He made me feel loved, and cared for, and most importantly he made me feel safe in his presence. He came right in the middle of a tornadoe and managed to turn it into blue skies. He changed my perspective and gave me hope and strength." I looked at him, and he was smiling, and his eyes were a little glossy. He took my hand and kissed it, a small tear caught in the corner of his beautiful eyes. "I thought, hey, maybe life isn't so bad after all. Maybe I can finally allow myself to love and be loved, and to live life normally. When we went to your party, you told me to wait for you. But then your perverted cousin made me feel super uncomfortable, so I went looking for you, just to be able to feel at peace again. And that's when I saw it." My heart beats skyrocketed, because this was the moment everything changed forever. "Saw what?" Asked Axel. I took a deep breath, and continued. It's now or never. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ Sophia Grace is a 25 year old Forensic Science major who recently started working as a cashier at her local grocery store - "The Corner Store". "You don't really like to open up, do you?" The words startle me, seemingly jagged and impure in contrast to the light and beautiful atmosphere we were in. "I didn't say that." Asher snorted, "You didn't have to." I was quiet for a moment, looking out to the beach and resting my cheek on my knee. "It- It's not that I don't like to," I struggled to find the words good enough to explain. "I just think, maybe, I don't know how to anymore." Asher stares at me for a moment, eyes filled with an emotion that I can't put my finger on. I turn to face him properly, almost gasping when he appears much closer than I remembered. Before I can turn the moment into a joke, he speaks. "Well, if you ever want to learn again, I'll always be right here, Willa. I'm always right here." * Willa Montgomery didn't expect to be uprooted for her last summer before college, but two weeks in, here she is: Santa Monica, California. Willa hasn't had the best life as of recent, and with the impending damage of her parents messy divorce getting harder and harder to avoid, her mom decides the best place for her to be is anywhere but home. Enter Sylvia Edwards, Willa's mother's best friend since middle school, and Willa's godmother. Sylvia is more than glad to host Willa for the entire summer, opening up her beautiful home to her immediately. And with that beautiful home comes the beautiful Asher Edwards, and a whole bunch of memories Willa wasn't even aware she had. Living in a house with Asher, the sweetest yet most persistent guy to exist is both heartwarming and dangerous all at once, because soon enough, the barriers Willa spent years building around her fragile heart are coming down- and fast. Willa had never realized how frozen she was until Asher started to melt her ice. With eyes like oceans, a smile like honey and a touch like heaven. cover by @stylesoftimothee

'Accidents happen'. That's what people say. Yet, some accidents take away from us more than others. Ethan had it all. Everything was lined up in front of him. Popularity, looks, friends, a hot girlfriend and a promised future in football. In one incident that resulted in a horrible accident, he lost it all. The best friend, the girlfriend, the planned future and his sight. Fighting through darkness and depression, he built high walls that kept everyone out. Skye suffered loss too, but she kept strong for the sake of her little brother, Matt. With her aunt and brother, leaving home and moving to a new place seemed like the perfect solution. A new start that they all needed. Skye's plan was to blend in and keep to herself. Well, not the easiest task when it was obvious as daylight that you were the new girl at school. Especially when she, literally, bumped into Ethan. For Ethan who has been isolating himself and absolutely independent that he pushed everyone away, and Skye being stubborn and not in-the-least shy on saying what she thought openly, fighting and bickering was unpreventable. Skye saw through the walls that Ethan has built around himself. Drawn to him, slowly, their friendship started to turn into something else.
