StarClan's time is over. They never helped the Clans when they were needed most. Sharkshade won't let their influence corrupt the newly formed ShadeClan, and will do anything to prevent it.
Even kill her own warriors.

Swordsnout is horrified at what his sister has become. Sure, he was concerned about her believing that StarClan was against them, but figured that she was still grieving over the loss of their parents.
However, it's clear that she's taken that belief to the next level. Anyone who even mentions StarClan is executed. The medicine cats, who were one of the highest ranks, are kept under watch daily.

Rising from the Ashes
The four Clans-GrassClan, OakClan, PineClan and WillowClan-have lived in relative balance since the Clans began. They kept separate, save for their Gathering every full moon. While they had their disagreements, they kept a relatively harmonious existence. They had always been four Clans and it was believed that they always would be. For as long as they kept the warrior code alive, the Clans would continue to thrive. That's when the troubles began. One long, hot, dry greenleaf, a fire swept through GrassClan. Greencough swept through the Clan, snuffing out the new lives before they had even begun. The dreaded sickness left its mark, stealing the future of the Clan and all hope with it. Life had taken its toll on GrassClan. All that remained were their young leader, their deputy, their elderly medicine cat, one warrior and three elders. They had no apprentices, no she-cats and no kits. The once vibrant Clan was on the brink of dying out. The four Clans would soon be no more. Then, at the next Gathering, StarClan brought a message to the Clans: GrassClan must survive. There had always been four Clans and that could not change. They proposed that volunteers from the other three Clans should join GrassClan to help restore it. Cats were given one moon to consider the offer. Fernpaw lived normally in ThunderClan, until the cruel Foxstar took over. She can do nothing to stop Foxstar's power into tricking her, but notices that everything around her goes horribly wrong. Little do they know, their relationship with their own clan will change - but for the better or the worse? Duckkit lives a happy life in RiverClan with her parents, and her brothers, Goosekit and Swankit. She enjoys playing and overall having fun. But after something that changes her life happens, she feels as if she doesn't fit in her clan - especially when there's a hidden traitor among her clanmates.
