When aliens arrive on earth and kidnap a third of the population, the logical assumption is that they have hostile intent and the world goes to Defcon 1. but what happens when the people brought up to the mother ship realize that they've got this all wrong? that all the aliens wanted was help? and what if the rest of the humans aren't convinced?

They inform them that there are in fact thousands of alien species out there. The alien race, who calls themselves Opsidians, offer Earth a chance at competing in the Games, a televised reality competition game they host. In order to win the protection, Earth will have to send a tribute to the Games. They know little to nothing about the Games or these alien species. Sarina Earth is past saving, but to save the human race, six ships leave the planet to start over.
