finishing up high school at a prestigious dance school in new york, kaycee auditions to be a backup dancer on derek hough's coming up tour. kaycee is different than most people. she doesn't receive her soulmate mark when she turns 18, so she closes herself off. however, she immediately clicks with one of the other new members, sean, and soon derek senses the chemistry making sean kaycee's partner. she learns sean, even though he has his soulmate mark, does not believe in soulmates. follow sean and kaycee's journey as they must navigate their newfound friendship and partnership, and even some unwelcome feelings while on tour.
