Olivia is just your average highschool girl. However her parents moved her away from her friends and to a new town with a dark history. Little does she know, her Father is a retired Alpha returning home to finish what he started...a deal he made, 17 years before her birth.

"Ugh, this town is so small. And it's gloomy. Why can't we just go back home?" I say to my parents as I take my headphones out. My brother asleep drooling all over the window. Yuck.

"Olivia, for the last time, your father and I have family here, and we think it would be best for you to start fresh and make new friends. Your grades were terrible young lady, and you're peers were no good street rats."

"Where did you think you were gonna get yourself smoking pot all day? huh? Olivia as your dad it's my job to keep my little girl safe. Please try to understand." My dad says looking in the rearview mirror with pleading eyes. I sigh and look out the window.

29 parts Complete

Kyan, beta of a wolf shifter pack, is second-in-command and fiercely dedicated to his role. Heartbreak and years of chasing an elusive soulmate have left him jaded, his patience thin with his packmates. Trust is a luxury he no longer affords, and he fills his spare hours with casual company, resigned to a life without deeper joy. When the alpha's little sister returns after four years of training, she's not the kid he remembers. Her time away has shaped her in ways he can't quite pin down. Could her presence shake up his guarded routine-or will it just be another reminder of what he's given up on?
