They let the mortal run all over the mansion, even letting her run outside to make it more interesting. The girl ran all the way to the lake, and to her dismay, Ayato Sakamaki caught up to her.

He had caught her. She thought he was going to drink her blood, as he would've always done. To her shock, she got thrown to the side. Ayato was looking at something across the lake... He was looking at someone.

And just like that, she was forgotten by the vampire.
