The Dark Forest had been defeated once in The Great Battle... After the Great Battle Mapleshade and the rest of the remaining Dark Forest cats had another battle and won that when the clans were still recovering from the last battle. Mapleshade and her deputy Redwillow come up with something to make the clans suffer, they call it the Slender Games, where you take 5 cats from each clan INCLUDING skyclan to fight to the death!
