I slowly pushed myself up as I watched the burning silhouette of a person whom I once cared for disappear before me. Hearing his earsplitting screams, my heart ached. I knew once he'd cross the line, things would end up this way. I grabbed my aching chest as I felt it tighten when memories of this person continuously flashed in my head.

The face of the current Queen appeared in my head. The ground beneath me became dark. The grass withered and the flowers too. Air stirred around me, carrying the foul smell of iron.
